UFC Targetting Prague To Host Fight Card In 2019
The UFC’s 2019 schedule is slowly being released and the latest addition is a fight card heading to Prague in the Czech Republic.
This was reported by mutiple European based news outlets yesterday following an intial release by Svetmma.sk. MMA Junkie then followed up the report later in the evening citing an anonymous source from inside the UFC.
It’s believed that the O2 Arena in Prague will play host to a fight card taking place on Saturday, February 23.
This will likely be the first fight card taking place on the continent of Europe for the UFC in 2019. It was announced just a few weeks ago that O2 Arena in London, England will take place on March 16.
The 2019 UFC schedule currently looks like this:
UFC on ESPN+ 1 – Jan. 19 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
UFC 233 – Jan. 26 at Honda Center in Anaheim, California
UFC on ESPN+ 2 – Feb. 2 at in Brazil
UFC 234 – Feb. 10 in Melbourne, Australia
UFC on ESPN 1 – Feb. 17 in Phoenix
UFC on ESPN+ 3 – Feb. 23 in Prague
UFC 235 – March 2 in Las Vegas
