Korean Zombie Reacts To Yair Rodriguez Loss: ‘It’s A Shame”
Chan Sung Jung has reacted to his loss at UFC Denver last night.
The “Korean Zombie” was one second away from potentially winning his main event fight with Yair Rodriguez on the scorecards, but one unconventional swing of the Mexican’s elbow rendered the South Korean unconscious. The end of the fight summed up what was an incredible back and forth war between the two featherweights and it capped off the UFC’s 25th Anniversary show in an unbelievable fashion.
Following his titanic effort and near victory, Jung took to his Facebook this evening:
“I don’t have an excuse.. I’m so sorry for all the people who helped me. Thank you.. I’m congratulations to those who hate me. I haven’t been able to get on the plane yet, so I’m going to be in Korea for a few days. It’s a shame, but.. I’ll go back and see you.”
