Conor McGregor Unleashes Expletive Filled Response to Floyd Mayweather’s Next Fight
It wasn’t that long ago that Conor McGregor thought he might be in line for another massive payday for a fight against Floyd Mayweather.
While it appears that time has passed — at least for now — McGregor couldn’t resist commenting on Mayweather coming out of retirement again, this time to face 20-year old kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa at RIZIN 14 in Japan on Dec. 31.
The surprise announcement caught just about everybody off guard, especially boxing loyalists who had no idea that Mayweather was even considering this fight.
To make matters even stranger, no rule set or weight class has been determined for the fight yet Mayweather is expected to face Nasukawa in less than two months time.
Needless to say, McGregor had quite a reaction to the news.
“Is that a tracksuit or a sauna suit Floyd?” McGregor wrote on Instagram. “[What the f–k], is it hot in Tokyo or what’s the story here? That climate change is no joke, f–k me.
“What in the f–k is going on here? Who’s this little prick next to you? That’s mad s–t. Like something out of ‘Rush Hour 5’ or something. Chris Tucker and Jackie f–king Chan back in this bitch. F–king brilliant. Mad little bastard you are Floyd. Fair f–ks to you mate. No lie. F–k it.”
Obviously if Mayweather is returning to the ring, he must be getting paid rather handsomely to get back in action but there’s still no word if this fight will be available on pay-per-view or how exactly it will even be broadcast in the United States.
Perhaps the most bizarre circumstance is that Mayweather hasn’t event agreed to the rules for the fight while taking on a noted kickboxer with 21 professional knockouts on his resume.
McGregor definitely seemed to have some fun poking at Mayweather following the announcement as the world awaits further information on this interesting fight on New Year’s Eve in Japan.
