Khabib Nurmagomedov Would Be Monumental Underdog in Potential Boxing Match with Floyd Mayweather

While it seems highly unlikely to ever happen, Khabib Nurmagomedov would be a massive underdog if he ever actually faced Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match.

Here’s the least surprising news you’ll read all day — if Khabib Nurmagomedov faced Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match, the reigning UFC lightweight champion would be a gargantuan underdog.

Following Nurmagomedov calling out Mayweather — how serious he was about the fight is unknown — and then the undefeated boxer responding, the odds makers over at Ohmbet have listed the potential betting lines if this boxing match actually happens.

As expected, Nurmagomedov would be a huge underdog — around 17-to-1 odds — to actually pull off the upset against Mayweather in a boxing match.

Those odds are far greater than what Conor McGregor faced when he was matched up with Mayweather last August.

While it seems highly unlikely that Nurmagomedov would ever actually get the opportunity to face off with Mayweather, the same kind of skepticism existed when rumors of the McGregor fight started as well.

So while it might look impossible, nothing seems out of the realm of possibility these days.
