Carlos Condit vs. Michael Chiesa In the Works for UFC 232 in December
An intriguing welterweight matchup is currently being put together between Carlos Condit and Michael Chiesa for UFC 232 in Las Vegas on Dec. 29.
The rumored fight has been offered with sources confirming that both sides have at least verbally accepted, although no bout agreements have been issued.
For his part, Condit sent a message out on Twitter saying that he was ‘in’ for the fight against Chiesa in December.

As of now, the UFC has not confirmed anything and the fight won’t be official until bout agreements have been signed and returned by both athletes.
Assuming the fight moves forward this would be Chiesa’s UFC debut at welterweight after he hinted at the move following a difficult weight cut in his last fight that ended in a loss to Anthony Pettis in July.
Chiesa is now ready to test the waters at 170 pounds where he will not suffer through the brutal cut to get down to the lightweight limit.
Meanwhile, Condit would be coming into the fight off four straight losses as the former interim welterweight champion has struggled through the toughest stretch in his career in recent years.
Most recently, Condit fell by submission to Alex Oliveira in April but now “The Natural Born Killer” will look to get back into the win column in December.
