Corey Anderson vs Ilir Latifi And One Other Bout Added To UFC 232

Two further bouts have been added to UFC 232 with Corey Anderson taking on Ilir Latifi and Sijara Eubanks taking on Jessica Eye.

The bout was first reported by Kimura.se and then confirmed by UFC Tonight on FS1 last evening.

Anderson (11-4) is coming off the back of a win over Glover Teixeira at UFC Fight Night 134. The American is currently riding a two fight win streak having also previously beaten Patrick Cummins at UFC Fight Night 124 in April. A third win on the bounce could put Anderson in title cotention heading into 2019, but in his way stands a formidable Swede.

Latifi (14-5) is also riding a two fight win streak following victories over Ovince Saint Preux and at UFC on Fox 28 and Tyson Pedro at UFC 215. Injuries have blighted the Swede’s rise to the top of the division, but like Anderson a third win in a row could see him put himself in the title mix following UFC 232.

Sources close to Damon Martin of MMANytt have also confirmed that former The Ultimate Fighter contestant Sijara Eubanks (3-2) will take on Jessica Eye (13-6) in women’s flyweight action. Ariel Helwani of ESPN was first to report the bout.

Anderson vs Latifi joins the already announced champion vs champion superfight between UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg vs UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes.
