Joanna Jedrzejczyk Rips Into Rose Namajunas Ordering Her To ‘Bow Down’

Joanna Jedrzejczyk has unfinished business with UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas.

The Pole takes on Tecia Torres today at UFC Calgary in Canada, but speaking earlier this to TMZ, Jedrzejczyk took issue with champion Rose Namajunas who has defeated her twice in the past year.

According to Jedrzejczyk, Namajunas has disrespected her since their fights and she thinks that the champion should be giving her a lot more respect.

“Hey champion, I respect you and I give you credit, but bow down” Jedrzejczyk said. “Bow down on your knees because I am the real strawweight queen.

“Maybe you won the first fight because of someone’s mistake. It was not my fault that I lost this fight, I was going to win with you. I won the last fight and you know this. So bow down.

“I respect you because you’re the champ, but I am the strawweight queen so don’t say that I have to say that you’re the best because I will never say this.

“You’re the champ and I give you this credit, but you’re not the best. It’s a shame on you that you’re asking me to do this. Bow down.”

A win today for the #1 ranked Jedrzejczyk could well put her back in the mix of a title shot, but with Jessica Andrade and Karolina Kowalkiewicz facing off next month at UFC 228, the winner of that fight could well be the next in line to face Namajunas.

Suffice to say, it’s all eyes on Calgary today to see if the Pole can defeat Torres and pick up her first win in over a year.
