Paul Felder Now Expected to Face Mike Perry at UFC 226 in Las Vegas
The UFC is wasting no time booking a matchup between Paul Felder and Mike Perry
With opponents for both fighters being pulled in the last 24 hours, Felder and Perry have agreed to face off in a welterweight showdown on July 7 at UFC 226.
Sources confirmed that verbal agreements are in place for the matchup that would take place on the preliminary card on July 7 from the T-Mobile Arena.
No contracts have been signed at this time and the UFC hasn’t made a formal announcement yet regarding the fight.
The fight came together quickly after Felder lost his opponent on Wednesday when James Vick was pulled to face Justin Gaethje at a UFC Fight Night event in Nebraska on Aug. 25.
Meanwhile, Yancy Medeiros suffered a rib injury that forced him out of his bout against Perry next weekend at UFC 226.
Soon after that news broke, Felder and Perry were jockeying for the fight on social media and it appears the UFC was paying attention.

Felder will now move to welterweight to face Perry in what should be a crowd pleasing affair when they clash at UFC 226 in Las Vegas.
