Jon Jones Scoffs at Daniel Cormier Reaching Greatest of All Time Status with Win at UFC 226
Jon Jones may not be competing right now but he knows where he belongs in the conversation amongst the greatest fighters of all time.
With only one disqualification loss on his record and a slew of wins over champions, former champions and future Hall of Famers, Jones has already cemented his place in the record books when it comes to his incredible resume.
That’s why Jones couldn’t help but scoff at the suggestion that former rival Daniel Cormier could somehow reach ‘greatest of all time’ status if he defeats heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic at UFC 226.
what have you done for me lately? Let’s just be real and stop asking this question https://t.co/Tw3FcpH3bK

Obviously, Jones has a win over Cormier and he also earned a knockout against the reigning light heavyweight champion last year but that victory was later overturned to a no contest by the California State Athletic Commission due to a positive drug test for steroids.
Of course, Jones has always maintained his innocence when it comes to using any sort of performance enhancing drug and even Cormier has said he still considers that fight a loss no matter what his record says.
Jones is anxiously awaiting his opportunity to return to action in the near future once his pending case with USADA is settled.

Unfortunately there’s still no word when that determination will be made as Jones faces a possible four year suspension for a second violation of the UFC’s anti-doping policy after previously being suspended for one year due to a separate failed drug test.
That time around, Jones was exonerated from knowingly taking a performance enhancing drug but still faced a one-year sanction for his handling of the matter.
Jones obviously hopes that any potential punishment will allow him to return to action sooner rather than later so he can resume his own Hall of Fame career.
