Nathaniel Wood Takes Aim At Five Fighters Who Defeated His Mentor Brad Pickett

Nathaniel Wood made his UFC debut earlier this month and he's now taken aim at fighters who defeated his former mentor Brad Pickett.

Former Cage Warriors bantamweight champion Nathaniel Wood made an impressive UFC debut earlier this month and he’s now set his sights on his next opponent.

Taking to social media this evening, Wood called for a fight with one of five potential opponents, all of whom who had beaten his mentor Brad Pickett in the past.

Wood’s list started with Eddie Wineland who defeated Pickett back at UFC 155 in 2012.

Next up was Thomas Almeida who battled back from an early Pickett onslaught to score a flying knee knockout win at UFC 189 in 2015.

Iuri Alcantara also made Wood’s list after he defeated Pickett at UFC 204 in Manchester, England in 2016.

Marlon Vera was also included in Tweet. He defeated Pickett at UFC London in 2017 in the fight that was originally meant to be the Londoner’s retirement bout.

The last name on Wood’s list was Renan Barao. The Brazilian defeated Pickett back in 2011 at UFC 138.
