Chi Lewis-Parry Co-Main Event Added To BAMMA Fight Night London
BAMMA London is just 10 days away and a co-main event heavyweight contest between Chi Lewis-Parry and Lukasz Parobiec has been announced today.
Lewis-Parry (6-0-0 2NC) was last in action back in March when he fought Stav Economou at BAMMA 34. Unfortunately, the bout ended in controversey after Lewis-Parry landed an elbow and the fight was ruled a no contest. Prior to that bout, Lewis-Parry’s last bought was in 2014 when he fought Alain Nganlani in ONE Championship and won the contest via first round TKO.
The Brit will now take on Polish fighter Parobiec (13-7) who has lost three of his last four fights. The Pole is coming off the back off two losses to both Karol Celinski and Mauro Cerili in 2017. His last victory came against Tom Aspinall at BAMMA 25 in May 2016.
The bout between Lewis-Parry and Parobiec will serve as a #1 contender bout for the BAMMA heavyweight title.
BAMMA London will be headlined by a BAMMA lightweight title bout pitting champion Rhys McKee against BAMMA welterweight champion Tery Brazier.
