Colby Covington: ‘President Trump Will Deport Rafael Dos Anjos After I Beat Him’
Colby Covington has given a bold prediction for how his fight with Rafael dos Anjos will go down this weekend at UFC 225.
Speaking in an interview with MMAJunkie today, Covington explained how he sees the fight going down on Saturday night and staying true to form he didn’t hold back.
“He’s going to get finished on Saturday night,” Covington said.
“I see a dominant victory and I’m in the best shape of my life. I put a lot of cardio rounds with the women in the bedroom so I’m prepared to go five rounds.
“If it doesn’t go five rounds then I’m going to leave him in a pool of blood and he’s going to be sent back to Rio de Janeiro because I’m going to have Trump have him deported.”
Whilst confident of victory over dos Anjos on Saturday, Covington still sees this fight at UFC 225 as the most important of his life. An interim UFC welterweight title will be on the line come fight night, but according to Covington, he says it’s really for the undisputed belt.
“It [means] everything because, in my opinion, it’s for the undisputed title,” Covington said.
“Tyron Woodley ducked me for a reason, he didn’t want to fight me.
“He’s letting this Brazilian take this ass whipping for him so he’s over gossiping about the Kardashians and Justin Bieber on TMZ, he doesn’t want to fight no more.
“He piggybacked his way to get those big pay-per-view figures off Conor [McGregor] and Jon Jones.
“His time has come and gone. My time is now.”
