Nick Diaz Mugshot Photo Released Following Arrest in Las Vegas
Nick Diaz’s booking photo after he was arrested last week on two separate domestic violence charges have been released by Las Vegas police.
The photo was sent out after the former UFC welterweight title contender was arrested last Thursday on a felony charge for domestic violence by strangulation and a misdemeanor for domestic battery.
Police responded to a call in Las Vegas last Thursday around 7:20 p.m. PT where Diaz was arrested with several reports stating that he was combative with officers.
Diaz remained in custody until Saturday morning when he was released on $18,000 bail.
According to court records, Diaz’s next appearance in court is scheduled for June 26 in Las Vegas. Diaz has yet to make any public statement regarding the arrest or the allegations levied against him.
Diaz hasn’t fought in the UFC since 2015, although just recently UFC president Dana White had stated that he believed the former title challenger was contemplating a comeback.
