(Video) Darren Till Submits A Black Belt With A Slick Triange Choke

Darren Till versus Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson is very fast approaching with UFC Liverpool just 4 days away.

The contest between the #7 and #1 ranked UFC welterweights has long been pitched as battle between two fighters who like to keep things on the feet, but if you think Till’s skills stop there, you are much mistaken.

During a training session at Team Kaobon last Friday, the Scouser showed his versatility on the mat during a rolling session with BJJ black belt Erick “Indio Brabo” da Silva (MMA 21-5) who has been helping Till prepare for his fight with Thompson this weekend.

Speaking after the session about his upcoming bout with Thompson, Till said he had no issues with taking the fight to mat if required.

“If I see a takedown I’ll take it and I imagine he’ll do the same – he’s been training with Chris Weidman,” Till said.

“I think he could try and fake and go for a few takedowns, so lets see.

“I think I’m going to get him out of there in the second or third round so that’s just my belief.

“I’ll be too physically strong for him on the night.”
