Molly McCann will make her UFC debut on May 27 at UFC Fight Night 130 when the UFC visit the Echo Arena in Liverpool for the first time.

The Cage Warriors women’s flyweight champion was hard in training even before she got the call from the UFC and is now just 7 days away from facing Canadian Gillian Robertson in her own hometown.

Last Friday, McCann spoke to MMANytt about her historic opportunity and how life has been since becoming aware that she will be the first ever Liverpudlian fighter to fight in Liverpool under the UFC banner.

McCann also spoke about who she thinks will be her biggest rival in the UFC’s 125-pounds division, as well as lastly issuing a rally cry to the people of Liverpool to get behind herself and Darren Till come fight night.
