Cage Warriors welterweight Carlo Pedersoli is on the verge of signing for the UFC

EDIT: This report has been updated from 11am this morning where we reported the fight was in the works for UFC Liverpool. It now appears that there are ongoing discussions with UFC Liverpool and UFC Hamburg possible dates.

Italian welterweight Carlo Pedersoli is on the verge of signing for the UFC and their currently ongoing talks for him to take a fight against British fighter Bradley Scott.

The Italian has 10-1 record and was last in action back at Cage Warriors 93 when he defeated Nicolas Dalby via a split decision.

Prior to fighting undet the Cage Warriors banner, Pedersoli fought in multiple other organizations including Venator FC, RXF and Magnum FC.

Scott (11-5) was set to meet Salim Touahri but it was reported earlier this week that the Pole was out of the fight after sustaining a knee injury trainign at American Top Team.

The Brit will be hoping that the Italian agrees terms with the UFC bring an end to a series of bad luck in 2018.

Scott was orignally booked to face Jack Marshman at UFC Fight Night London in March, but the bout was pulled just 24-hours from fight night after the Welshman suffered a bad weight cut.
