TUF Contestant Tyler Diamond Claims Nate Diaz Slapped Him At Combate Americas Show

TUF seaons 27 contestant Tyler Diamond appears to have been involved in an altercation with Nate Diaz this evening.

TUF season 27 contestant Tyler Diamond appears to have been involved in an incident with Nate Diaz at a Combate Americas show in California this evening.

Combate 20: Mexico vs. USA took place in Sacramento, California last night and was headlined by Lizbeth Lopez Silva taking on Brenda Enriquez.

Diaz’s teammate Chris Avila was in action and lost a unanimous decision to Horacio Gutierrez in the co-main event.

Diamond, a member of Team Alpha Male from Sacramento, appears to have been at the show supporting Anthony Avila along with teammates Clay Guida and Sage Northcutt.

Witnesses at the show have told MMANytt that a brawl took place before the main event.

UPDATE – 08:05 am Pacific Time 05/12/2018 – Ryan Gentry witness account:

“I saw there was a fight going on, didn’t give it much attention because there are always these type of things at local shows, but then I noticed that Clay Guida was jumping the security barrier and was bleeding.

“So I jumped up on the apron to see if I could tell what was going on. Clay jumped on the apron as well and made his way towards me. The guy next to me asked what happened and Clay said: ‘Nate just came up behind me and pushed me.’

“He seemed was definitely pissed, but seemed confused to why it happened. He was bleed from the mouth so he obviously had taken a blow or two in the altercation.”

Multiples videos have now appeared on social media – see below:

Shortly after 11pm local pacific time, Diamond took to social media this evening claiming he was struck by Diaz.

We will update the story when more information emerges.
