Michael Bisping ‘Interested’ And ‘In Contact’ With The UFC About Fighting In Liverpool

Michael Bisping has expressed a strong interesting in fighting on UFC Liverpool on May 27.

Will he or won’t he? Michael Bisping hasn’t yet decided whether he will have a retirement fight, but this week he’s given his strongest indication yet that he will.

Speaking on his ‘Believe You Me’ podcast, “The Count” was asked whether he would like to fight on the upcoming UFC Liverpool fight card set for the Echo Arena in Liverpool on May 27.

Bisping, who’d previously non-committal on whether he would enter the Octagon one last time, answered with a degree of certainty to suggest that he would make the walk again if the UFC approached him.

“That’s a nice retirement fight, Liverpool, North West of England, that’s where I’m from,” Bisping said.

“I am interested in fighting on that card. We’ll see what the UFC comes up with, but yeah, definitely interested, for sure.

“That would be my last fight.”

Bisping even went on to say that discussions with the UFC about him fighting on the card had already begun and that he was now simply waiting to see what opponents they could offer him.

“I said to the UFC throw some names my way, and we’ll see,” Bisping said.

“We’ll see what they come back with, but yeah, I’m certainly interested.

“Definitely interested, so there you go.”
