Robert Downey Jr. Raising Funds for Brian Ortega Foundation with ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Contest

Iron Man is teaming up with top ranked UFC featherweight Brian Ortega for a contest to benefit his foundation ahead of the release of 'Avengers: Infinity War'.

Top ranked UFC featherweight contender Brian Ortega now has Iron Man in his corner.

Robert Downey Jr., who has portrayed Iron Man/Tony Stark since 2008, launched a new contest with the winners joining him on the red carpet for the premiere of his new film — ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ with part of the proceeds going to the Brian Ortega Foundation.

“What must be done to join us? Donate $10 smackers, dollars, bucks, or said equivalent in U.S. currency to Random Act Funding. The more you donate, the higher likelihood of winning.

“This year’s focus will be on ROHHAD Association and we’ll be throwing some proceeds to the Brian Ortega Foundation as well.”

Ortega has spoken often about his foundation before and after his fights, even focusing more on that than talking about his own accolades.

Just recently, Ortega also put together plans for a ‘T-City Scholarship’, which will provide full tuition for a year of training at any certified Gracie training center across the globe.

Ortega’s foundation is 100-percent non-profit with volunteers helping run the organization so all of the proceeds raised in the contest by Robert Downey Jr. will go towards the program.
