This will be the first time in UFC history that the organization will host a pay-per-view event in the “Windy City” and it appears that former WWE star Phil Brooks aka. CM Punk fancies stepping inside the Octagon for the second time.
Taking to social media shortly after the announcement, Punk used his emoji game to full effect to get everyone talking about whether he will make a move to be on the card.

UFC President Dana White recently told the associated press that Punk would be getting another shot at fighting in the UFC should he want it.
“I like that guy. He’s a good dude,” White said of Punk. “He wants to give it another shot. I’m going to give it to him.”
Punk made his UFC debut back at UFC 203 when he faced Mickey Gall in Cleveland, Ohio. To put it mildly, things didn’t go to plan for Punk and after missing the mark with his a wild first punch, he was taken down to the ground and then choked out.
At 39 years of age, Punk will have to move relatively quickly if he’s going to get a second opportunity to prove his doubters wrong.
With no end of fighters willing to step up and make their name by beating him, he will no doubt have a shortage a long list of potential opponents ready to take him on.
