Conor McGregor Not Impressed By Khabib Nurmagomedov: ‘That Dagestani Was Dog S***’
Khabib Nurmagomedov won plenty of praise on the way to beating Edson Barboza at UFC 219, but he seemingly didn’t impress the UFC lightweight champion, Conor McGregor.
The Russian took Barboza apart for the majority of the 15-minutes in the Octagon and left him a bloody mess. Nurmagomedov’s relentless takedowns and ground and pound were simply too much for the Brazilian who had to dig deeper than ever before just to hear the final bell.
After putting in one of his best performances yet, Nurmagomedov won praise all round from the MMA community. However, on Twitter today, McGregor gave his own opinion on how well Nurmagomedov did and he had a very different take.
“That Dagestani was dog shit the other night you’s are all nuts. Game full of sloppy bums asking to be slept. Pay me my worth and Kings back.”

McGregor is currently the UFC lightweight champion after winning the title back at UFC 205 when he defeated Eddie Alvarez in Nov. 2016. Since then, the Irishman has not fought in the UFC and only fought one time in 2017 when he took on Floyd Mayweather in a professional boxing bout that he lost via TKO in the tenth round.
With Tony Ferguson winning the interim UFC lightweight title during that time, McGregor now has his options open as to whether he returns to unify the titles or try put himself into the mix for a fight with Nurmagomedov or Nate Diaz. Whatever the case, it looks like McGregor will be returning in 2018 if the UFC put their hands in their pocket.
Truly truly truly get on your fucking knees and beg me. Otherwise I don't give a bollox.
