Ross Pearson Calls Out Diego Sanchez For UFC London: ‘That Motherf*cker Stole From Me’
There are bad decision, but then there unforgiveable ones.
Ross Pearson was the victim of one of the worst decisions in UFC history when two out of three judges at UFC Fight Night 42 somehow scored a split decision in favour of Diego Sanchez. The Brit had clearly dominated the bout and one of the judges, Marco Rosales scored 30-27 in his favour.
Unfortunately, the other two weren’t on the same page and judge Jeff Collins had it 30-27 Sanchez, while judge Chris Tellez went with 29-28 Sanchez. Interestingly, all 13 members of the media who submitted their score had Pearson as the winner. (MMADecisions.com).
Pearson should’ve had a decisive win in a co-main event, but instead, he had a further loss on his record. The fight is constantly cited as one of the worst decisions in UFC history, but that doesn’t change what’s in the record books.
Three and a half years down the line, Pearson and Sanchez have yet to cross paths to set the record straight. That will all change though if Pearson has anything to do with it.
Earlier this week, Pearson took to Twitter to call out Sanchez for a fight at UFC London next March.

MMANytt.com then reached out to Pearson to get a comment on why he thinks now is the time for the two of them to settle their differences.
“That motherf*cker stole from me that night. He owes me rounds 4, 5, 6. At that time in my career, if I’d won against Diego I was going to be put up against top competition.
“I hold that as one of the biggest hurdles in my career. Plus, I’m sick of hearing his f*cking name against mine. After all this time I still get fans asking me when I’m going to get my redemption, well now is the time I feel.”
No fights have been officially confirmed for UFC London, however Paul Craig is expected to take on Russian newcomer, Magomed Ankalaev.
