MMAnytt welcomes Jim Edwards to the team!

One of Europe’s biggest MMA reporters is now a part of the MMAnytt.com staff! Some of you might have noticed that there has been several posts by Jim Edwards the last few days. He has worked across a number of MMA platforms including FloCombat, Champions.co and MMAUNO. Jim’s byline can also be frequently found on a number UK national newspaper websites including The Mirror, Independent and The Metro.

Edwards grew up in the UK and is a business graduate, and the last 4 years has been working as a MMA reporter. He is often in the news with breaking stories like Joanna Jedrzejczyk  vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz for UFC 205 and he also broke the news that Darren Till would fight Donald Cerrone in the main event in Poland last month.

Filmed the Conor McGregor viral video

Edwards first official day at MMAnytt was this Friday, and talk about starting things off with a bang. Many of you have seen the video of Conor McGregor making a fool of himself at Bellator 187 in Dublin. Edwards had a perfect vantage point and filmed the sequence of events that went viral, which ended in McGregor slapping a Bellator official.

The video went viral and appeared on websites such as TMZ and was even shown on TV in the UK on the channel Sky Sports. When he isn’t posting viral videos, Edwards routinely reports from all the biggest MMA events in the world such as Bellator and Cage Warriors. At the moment he is in Bahrain covering the IMMAF World Championships.

He also has a podcast called MMA Jim Podcast where he discusses the latest news in the MMA world and is joined by interesting guests.
